Basic Obedience:
This is an eight week course that takes place once a week, for eight
consecutive weeks. Each class is approximately one hour long. In
a basic obedience class your dog will learn the five obedience commands
while on a leash: heel, sit, stay, down and come. They will also
have an opportunity to learn a release and socialize with other
dogs in the class.
Advanced
Obedience:
In this class your dog will learn the same five obedience commands,
however this time they are taught while off a leash. They will also
practice the commands with distractions incorporated into the training.
Advanced obedience is a six week course that takes place once a
week, for six consecutive weeks. Each class is approximately one
hour long. It is recommended that dogs complete the basic obedience
course before enrolling in the advanced obedience course.
Agility
Training:
Can your dog leap, jump and run like an Olympic Star? Unleash the
athlete in your Pet. Agility training is a great structured way
for your dog to be stimulated, release energy and have fun! Dogs
will learn how to jump hurdles, run through tunnels, weave through
polls amongst other awesome activities. By the end of the course
dogs will be able to complete runs through an entire obstacle course!
It is recommended that Dogs have completed basic obedience or can
successfully complete basic obedience commands.
Seminars:
San Diego Pet Training is proud to offer Dog Training Seminars.
In the seminar we will outline tips and suggestions for basic training,
puppies, behavior modification, aggression and much more. You will
even get a chance to ask your questions and receive professional
advice. We believe that training the owner how to work and interact
with your dog is often the best training a dog can receive.
